Former Bush White House secretary Scott McClellan says he will vote for Obama.
“From the very beginning I’ve said, I’m gonna support the candidate who has the best chance of changing the way Washington works and getting things done. I will be voting for Barack Obama.”
This only a couple of days after General Colin Powell broke ranks to support Obama as well.
Certainly, in the case of Powell, negative campaigning had a lot to do with his decision to support Obama. Our local candidates would do well to note the implosion of the McCain campaign as a result of dirty politics.
