For some of us seeing Wayne Krieger, incumbent representative for District 1, fling candy at children along the parade route, may be the only campaigning we see from him. 
From what I understand, pressing the flesh, so to speak, is not Krieger’s style.
Challenger, Rick Goche, on the other hand lagged far behind as he stopped to chat with voters along the way.
District 1 incumbent Senate candidate, Jeff Kruse, didn’t make this event but his challenger, Eldon Rollins, campaigned behind Goche as he handed out campaign literature.
We will see how this campaign season works out, it is fun to have two Coquillians running.
