Dear Editor,
Can you imagine telling your future boss you are applying for his job opening, but you need him to hire someone else to do most of the job?
More than that, can you imagine applying for, and accepting, a job position then spending your time in that job waiting for your appointed committee to tell you what should be done?
On top of that, your hand-picked committee simply tells you to hire yourself someone who knows how to do your job?
Does that sound like a fairy tale? Ask your present and would-be commissioners where they stand on hiring an administrator (with your money) because that is what the Coos County commissioners’ November ballot measure 6-144 is all about, hiring an unelected person to do their job.
