Just back from a celebratory bike ride after winning in court today. Hopefully, this will end four years of what I consider relentless harassment by one of the most aggressively hostile people I have ever met.
When my oldest son, a Marine, left for war and crossed the border from Kuwait into Iraq in March 2003 I started writing my conscience. After two tours that young combat veteran’s mother is now an ardent peace activist and advocate for social, environmental and economic justice.
MGx has matured since those early vents and ramblings and now covers relevant and important local and regional matters in addition to national and global affairs.
My understanding is that she has run most people off, just like her tenant two years ago. No one came to the trial in her support save witnesses she wanted to call. Methinks her friends are just gossipers like her, not real friends. Not sure which is worse for the image of the community, her or the people who condone or ignore her behavior.
Probably he was subpoenaed but of all the people to ask to judge someone’s character?!?!?!? One thing I have learned talking with community leaders around the state, there is not a law enforcement administration professional I have heard of, in this county or its surrounds that holds Reaves in high regard. This town is a laughing stock thanks to O’Connor’s stubborn refusal to fire his ass.
Anyway, yesterday was sweet and you are right, the little basket full of chew toys she has been hording for years, was absolutely classic, if only I had my camera. If ever anyone needed intervention or evaluation, maybe from senior services, it has to be her.
“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood.”
My Gawd magix, what a wonderful day.
THERE’S A NEW JUDGE IN TOWN !!!!
What was it? “Justice is a commin and Hell’s a commin with her”? Something like that anyway.
Maybe the Four Year Reign of Terror is finally over.
But with someone who keeps a basketfull of debris accidently sent over and under their fence over a four year period, by the neighbors’ children, we can only hope so.
THAT was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen in a courtroom. Thank goodness we had an independent judge on the bench. See? The truth can come out.
I, as previously stated, find it extremely sad and pitiful that someone who has lived a long life, spends the end of that life collecting and hoarding debris from their yard so they can present it , as if on a silver platter, and with a smug smirk, to the judge who, by the way, was obviously astounded by the maneuver, and like the rest of “the case” was thrown out on its ear !
It’s just so sad that all that energy couldn’t be used for good intentions.
What a torment life must be for someone so angry and spiteful.
“GOOD MORNING LADIES”. my arse !!!!
The morning didn’t turn out as the person expected now did it?
Thankfully for you, justice prevailed and hopefully spiteful, mean people will think twice about messin with their neighbors.
Who says an “old DOG” can’t learn new tricks?
Oh, I’m just curious, anybody know the name of the court reporter who admonished the member of the public who couldn’t help laughing about the “farce” going on in the courtroom?
How could ANYONE sit through that hillarious presentation and NOT laugh? Maybe someone “close” to the case? Didn’t know they had lunch room monitors in court. Same personality I suppose as those in Jr. High who relished having a little authority over the rest of us. Another sad puppy.
I just dunno.
Small town politics at it’s worst.
Oh, I’m just curious, our ChiefMan was there, I’m thinking without a subpoena, to “testify” as to the “character” of M G?
Even though this maneuver was also thrown out, I personally find it very disturbing.
Surely an official with his “weight” wouldn’t do such a thing , would he?
Anyway, it’s over and I am so proud of you to stand on the truth and not be swayed by the unfolding drama of the Pampas Grass Caper.
She must have known that you might break out into song…. ‘a beautiful day in the neighborhood’
Talk about condoning, how about that “wink and a nod” from the official in court?
I understand the womans frustration , took everything I had not to laugh through the whole spectacle, just a tad defensive I guess.
Quite testy wasn’t she?

You know me, always looking on the bright side. Maybe the authorities will recognize the obvious disfunction if she tries to resurrect her vendetta.
I for one would support evaluation, for HER own good. I know you’re alright, and will continue to stand for what is honest and true.
I’m hoping she has family members or friends who will step forward and offer help, it’s so obviously needed.
