Coos County Alliance for Progress picks its favorites
The Coos County Alliance for Progress apparently invited certain commissioner candidates to interview with its board members, Jon Barton, Al Pettit, Ron Stuntzner, John Knutson and Joe Benetti. The committee has made contributions to Fred Messerle in the amount of $4,000, John Sweet for $1,500, Tim Bishop for $250, Melissa Cribbins for $750 and Mary Loiselle for $250. All accepted the contributions with the exception of Mary Loiselle who had the good character, in my opinion, to return the check.
