There is a reason vigilantism is against the law in this country. Just because an angry mob thinks someone is guilty doesn’t mean they are, and history is rife with examples of innocent men and women wrongly punished for crimes they didn’t commit.
Whether you fervently believed the election was stolen Trump had exhausted all legal avenues and unleashed a violent mob on our capitol. People died as a direct result of the January 6th insurrection.

A reader sent me this video clip that appears to show Rod Taylor on the steps of the capitol near the east entrance. Taylor has maintained that he went to DC planning on a peaceful demonstration but if these pictures are indeed, of him, he went there fully prepared to add to the body count.
Open carry is not allowed in DC and concealed carry requires a Metro DC permit.
Watch the video and you can see the sidearm at 19 seconds. I’ve included a screenshot here. 
Let me know in the comments below if you believe this is Rod Taylor. If it is, in my opinion he has forfeited any right to hold any public office, based upon the 14th Amendment and he is a traitor. This would include the two positions he currently holds at the Port of Bandon and the Transit Authority.
Here is a photo from The World newspaper showing Taylor wearing what appears to be the exact same clothes as in the video.
Here is a photo of Taylor from the Coos County Fair wearing a Drain the Swamp baseball cap that looks very similar to the one in the video.
Taylor has mostly ignored my email requests for information but I did receive this response to this post.

If you were paying attention, you would see I had two holsters on that day. They were attached to a belt that was over the top of my other clothing, and I used them to support my two flag poles. If you think I could fly to Washington DC with sidearms, and then open carry on the capital grounds, then you’re even more silly than I thought. Get better sources. You need them.

He appears to have his phone in the video despite what he to GATEWAY PUNDIT. “At around 3 PM (I’m not sure of the exact time, as I had loaned my phone to a friend) I was on the east veranda of the Capitol, about 10 or 12 feet from the portico where the main doors, which are 4 inches thick with bulletproof glass, had been swung outward and opened a short time before.”
According to the EXIF data on the video, he was likely there when the east side barricades were breached.
Taylor has variously said he never set foot inside the Capitol building and yet admitted on Rob Taylor’s weekly hate fest that he did indeed go inside but just to do a good deed…

Yes, it is so sad to see how far down the rabbit hole this county has gone. More than 14K voted for a traitor and if he prevails he will attempt, with a straight face, to swear an oath to uphold the constitution. The irony!
Regardless of what’s in the holster, he is clearly trespassing and complicit in the crimes of that day. Were he not, he wouldn’t have deleted his other videos from the day which show him calling police “communists” as they fought back against the attack.
