There are plenty of rational reasons to be wary of vaccines and wearing masks but that doesn’t justify irrational responses to vaccine or mask mandates. For example, people are citing voluntary entries to the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) as proof the COVID vaccine is deadly. Entries, however, do not prove causality and claims of widespread death and permanent health disability are unproven.
Since I don’t belong to either of the major corporatist political parties I have no special allegiance either platform. Consequently I have no qualms about poking fun at either Republicans or Democrats for their hypocrisy on anything including wearing masks.
