Tim Bishop will be asking the county commissioners on Tuesday to consider putting a measure on the ballot to add a taxing district related to correcting the algae problems in Lakeside. There have been reports that Bishop wants direct any property taxes collected via this proposed new taxing district into a non-profit organization.
Tim knows a good scam idea when he see’s one. The odds are against the CEP ever getting a dime of the tax/bribe money from Jordan Cove, but the idea has found fertile ground in the minds of our local cons. We will see this con-game re-emerge with every new venture the port comes up with, so why not turn it loose on Lakeside. There will surely be some admin fees for handling the money if he can fool Sweet and Cribbins into doing this. They seem to like the idea of privatizing taxes, so it shouldn’t be to hard to convince them to do this.
Quite a picture. Now I will forever associate Tim Bishop with pond scum.
