Reminder: Commissioner Candidate Forum October 8 7PM in Coquille

It’s just five weeks off! The first candidate forum put on by and for the people of Coos County, (sometimes known affectionately, or not, as Yahoos), will be held at the Coquille Community Center. Commissioner John Sweet and challenger Don Gurney will answer questions from the audience. David Jennings will be moderating.

    Will somebody get a commitment from the candidates to answer all questions as asked. And, to remain before the people until all questions are answered, And, while you are at it, please ask Sweet to assure us that since he will be older than Reagan while in office (80 years of age in his fourth year) that his health is excellent.

    Perhaps before that debate Mr. “I wish” Sweet will tell us all about why the SCCF with our monies going to private companies that have not yet been founded is such a good deal. Also, find a way to record the debate and play on Coos Media channel.
