There are two new commissioner candidate filings as of 3:00 today for position 2 currently held by John Sweet. Lee Byer a relative unknown from North Bend and Don Gurney. 
Gurney ran for position 3 during the last election and should be regarded as a top tier contender. The debates/forums will be a lot more interesting now.

I’m very happy to see Mr. Gurney enter the race. I have nothing but respect for him. I’m sorry no one I consider a good candidate filed against Cribbins. I might support Gaston for her position but certainly not “Baby Huey”
Good move. Cribbins is a follower; not a leader. She will be ineffective if Gurney is elected. Thanks Mr. Gurney. At a minimum you deserve our vote. And another opportunity to cause CCAP to waste more money.
