The costs of extending the county owned 12″ pipeline is too high, upwards of $1 million per mile so there will be no gas to Bandon. A fund balance of $8 million remains that can be used to offset mitigation or used on capital improvements or used to pay down the principle owed for the original $27 million bond portion of the $51 million pipeline. The commission appears to be leaning toward paying down the bond.
I’ll have you know there’s plenty of gas in Bandon. Sit in on a City Council meeting some time.
Especially after taco night at the pub
Thanks Bandon taxpayers. What you got were the sleeves from Sweets vest; there are none. You pay tax and get no gas.
