Veterans For Peace, Chapter 141 Bandon, Oregon held a vigil Sunday, Feb. 24th, 2013 at the Bandon Shopping Center in support of Bradley Manning. The vigil marked Manning’s 1,001th day in a military jail. Manning is the 25 year-old soldier who is accused of being behind the largest leak of state secrets in America’s history. He will appear before a military court this week to face charges of transferring confidential material to Julian Assange, the founder, editor-in-chief and director of WikiLeaks. If convicted, Manning could be confined in a military prison for the rest of his life. “A heroic young man faces life in prison for exposing the truth,” said Jeff Paterson, a spokesman for the Bradley Manning Support Network. I was so pleased to see a local group standing up for Bradley Manning. He is a true American hero who has been tortured and maligned for too long. We must demand justice. Jail bankers instead.
It’s nice to see the lady in the chair is still alive and smiling. Last saw her in 2005. I recall her name is Virginia. She is among the nice people of the planet. What happened to the ladies in black?
