Julian Assange has been given two weeks to argue new points raised in the case that hinges upon whether a single prosecutor in the European Union has the authority to order an extradition without formal charges. The Assange legal team fear that once in the custody of Swedish authorities the US will move to extradite Assange to the US on charges of espionage for publishing classified documents and videos alleged to have been leaked to Wikileaks by Bradley Manning.
