Commissioners Messerle and Parry unanimously voted to award Pacific Recycling of Eugene, Oregon a contract to demolish the incinerators and will pay $24,600 for the recycled metal. Main was absent. Messerle said work should begin immediately because the matter is a “safety hazard”.
