Only Randy Sanne has submitted a sustainable plan to retain current staffing levels and maintain county services and it doesn’t require an act of Congress or the potentially damaging extraction of non renewable resources or a complete overhaul of how the county governs itself or the hiring of an unknown administrator. Read it here.
By working within the accepted forest practices and managing county timber and factoring in known revenue like the annual 3% property value increase the county can manage quite well. Other opportunities such as the CBWR or even mineral leases can be used for non mandated services or extra deputies or other enhancements but simply are not required to save the county from economic ruin.
If Sanne survives the primary he should win in the general election. It is ever so important to vote in this primary.
Rest assured, Randy Sanne gets at least one vote in this election, mine.
