Bob Main and Cam Parry voted to accept the recommendations and additional conditions of hearing officer, Andrew Stamp, to allow the proposed Pacific Connector gas pipeline to go through Haynes Inlet. Messerle recused himself because of a conflict of interest. This may seem like bad news for opponents of the Jordan Cove LNG facility, however, amongst other things the conditions move place the permits into the jurisdiction of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Oregon Department of State Lands and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The review process at this level will is very thorough. Another condition incurred will benefit landowners by requiring approval from each owner before proceeding.
The wealthy and influential got that pipeline moved from THEIR side of the bay to the middle of the bay. They’re fine with it now, NIMBY indeed. And I’ve read that the Messerle Clan hired two lawyers to have it moved from THEIR property.
Am I correct on this?
Requiring approval from each owner before proceeding, will be good news for land owners not wanting to live with the pipe on their property. It will either force re-routing or eminent domain thievery. That will upset a lot of voters.
Fred hired not one, but two lawyers to write his request to have the pipeline moved from near HIS property, am I right?
Did he succeed?
Oh, and was it near that creek he and his son F’n MOVED?
