According to an email circulated by radio host Jim Bice, Al Pettit will be his guest tomorrow between 3 and 5PM on KWRO 630 AM. Pettit will “give his side of the story”, whatever that means, because apparently speaking out at the joint governance committee meeting, the board of commissioners meetings, the chamber luncheons and three or four newspaper articles and editorials isn’t enough to really bring home his point. That point, presumably, is that he wasn’t irresponsible to tell the planet, falsely, that public health records are at risk, that the county is more vulnerable to hackers than any other system and to wrongfully imply the solid waste department is full of drug abusers.
Perhaps he will explain how a visit to a Manhattan IT department years back qualifies him as the lone expert on county systems. Maybe he will provide his definition of the term “unanimous consensus” as it differs from, say, the sheriff’s. The more Pettit tries to save face the more egg he gets on it so if you have the opportunity you might want to listen and report back to me as it should be pretty entertaining.
We all knew that M.
Clowns to the left of me…………………………….
SCDC has had it’s way with this county for decades, where are all the businesses they’ve brought in, with all the jobs?
Why not ask Jon Barton how he can brag about his business experience with a straight face? He can’t without belching, his poor body is tired of the bullsheet too, that’s why, every time he opens his mouth to pretend he’s done something other than spend our tax dollars, his own body says – blech !!!!
Well, there really wasn’t anything new, not even that little Al called in his buddies Timm Slater and Jon Barton as back up, except Barton’s admission that if the county had an administrator a lease with ORC would be a done deal. Considering the only Pettit supporters in a crowded BOC meeting were three ORC goons sitting at the back of the room and how ORC has started showing up at port meetings in their black Carharts taking up space like a squad of bar bouncers… we may now know the real reason Barton and Pettit want a central administrator.
In and out of station range but Bice brought up the minority report but no one has addressed it
Well, let us cross our fingers that Bice does a better job of challenging and investigating the “majority” report better than The World has done.
That would be a problem for Al,(if were wrong)!
His friends may not be entirely on his side, and he’s not gunning for Bob’s seat, not sure a commissioners seat is his goal at this time. Maybe its just damage repair for the whole team.
Two of you are vey wrong. If you listened to the program last week, and I may be the only contributor here who occasionally listens, you will anticipate hard ball questions for Mr. Pettit. It appears that Mr. Main has found a friend. How does it go, the enemy of my friend is ?
That station is the republican version of the station where MarkM does his part for the “effort”. Both stations carry water for their side, which around here is the same side. Of course it will be all softball for Al, the same way Mark pitches for these conservative democrats, Arnie, Caddy, ect, right up the chain. Both sides are all in for the same agenda that is being promoted by the port, SCDC and its members.
Who represents any difference?
Bice will probably lob some softballs, Pettit is too thin skinned to agree to be on the show otherwise.
Poor Al, still trying to be big.
Charlie, let’s start with credibility. Please address the fact that the wrong impression of your skills and accomplishments has circulated throughout the community. It’s time to state for the recod that you did not save Apple or any other Silicone Valley company.
