General Colin Powell defends against “cheap shots” in the upcoming book by former VP Dick Cheney. Powell is by no means innocent in the Iraq fiasco but Cheney’s characterization of his co-conspirators is clearly designed to direct all blame to others. Powell indicates that the ‘team’ was not working together as a team and that differences could not be reconciled.
