Well, if anyone had any doubts as to who our local elected officials really represent, the answer is out. Verger, Roblan, Kruse and Krieger attended video conferences held at SOCC with members of the local Bay Area Chamber of Commerce every two weeks during this legislative session, according to Eric Farm of the Chamber. Farm boasts at a June 1 Chamber luncheon that the four legislators elected to represent all the people voted with the Chamber’s interests 100% of the time on key legislative issues including HB 2700. These four apparently only represent the Chamber of Commerce and a small group of business owners.

It is past time to replace these four sock puppets. When and where were these conferences publicized? Is there a public record available for those of us who missed them?

UPDATE: Local Chamber members who regularly attend the video conferences: Eric Farm lists – “Timm, myself, Dick, Joe, Al” and that “we are not taking over that forum” but are able to drive much of the discussion.
