Commissioner Main, yesteday, explained the illegal executive session held in the appointment of Fred Messerle as a “technical difficulty” encountered as a consequence of “trying to be open and honest”. Today, it was learned by a county citizen that, according to Bobbi Brooks, assistant to the commission, there is an unspecified “technical difficulty” releasing the recording of the closed session.
Fearing all the Rosemary Woods, eighteen and a half minute gap jokes I have received may turn out to be prophetic I have again asked OGEC to assist the public with the release of the recordings and encourage as many people as possible to do the same. Also, it is important to include a request for the January 14, 2011 all day executive session held regarding the appointment to the assessor’s office.
Brooks indicated that she has not been authorized to release that recording.

It’s just the first chapter of smoothie, sleazy & greedy. The new “Boys of the GOP”!
If there isn’t the audio record then they should release the written minutes of the actual meeting. Actually since the meting itself was illegal and in good conscience Mr. Main ought to order that the minutes be shared. In addition I believe at least one reporter attended the meeting. Perhaps she can share her notes. Isn’t it handy that there again is a “Technicality”.
so now the public are encountering technical difficulties obtaining access to the exec session deliberation
That is what I thought but it turns out she may have used a pen recorder to capture the audio – not that the audio isn’t already digitized and available for a disk but she may not have been using the usual recording stuff to capture the proceedings
hmmm, based on the video Bobbi must have had to stretch two, two and a half body lengths to have accidentally pushed the stop record button
