Remember those local improvement districts from last year? To refresh your memory, LIDs allow local property owners to finance road improvements on local access roads not on the county road maintenance list by spreading the cost over ten years via their property taxes.
Commissioners Parry and Main appear to agree the road department can no longer afford to fund these improvements.
