After being sworn in by Judge Barron, Coos County Clerk Terri Turi did the honors swearing Commissioner Nikki Whitty, looking frail after some recent surgery, and newly elected Commissioner Andy Jackson and Sheriff Craig Zanni.
Nikki Whitty said that she is undergoing physical therapy to build her strength back up but has no idea how long this may take or when she will be back to work full time. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
Whitty left to rest up before a meeting at 11AM to make the liaison assignments and mentioned she planned to attend a 1:30PM meeting to discuss upcoming budget constraints.
