An open letter signed by writers, journalists, academics and social justice advocates have called for the Australian government to speak out against threats of violence and accusations hurled toward its citizen, Julian Assange.
The letter lists examples from Jonah Goldberg to Sarah Palin.
Irrespective of the political controversies surrounding WikiLeaks, Mr Assange remains entitled to conduct his affairs in safety, and to receive procedural fairness in any legal proceedings against him.
As is well known, Mr Assange is an Australian citizen.
We therefore call upon you to condemn, on behalf of the Australian Government, calls for physical harm to be inflicted upon Mr Assange, and to state publicly that you will ensure Mr Assange receives the rights and protections to which he is entitled, irrespective of whether the unlawful threats against him come from individuals or states.
We urge you to confirm publicly Australia’s commitment to freedom of political communication; to refrain from cancelling Mr Assange’s passport, in the absence of clear proof that such a step is warranted; to provide assistance and advocacy to Mr Assange; and do everything in your power to ensure that any legal proceedings taken against him comply fully with the principles of law and procedural fairness.
A statement by you to this effect should not be controversial – it is a simple commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law.

This not only an issue of free speech and unfettered access to the truth, but Democracy. And these are the reasons that Wikileaks is being persecuted. This corrupt government like all corrupt governments does whatever they can to hide truth. A government is only as open as they are forced to be. No government plays by rules unless a vigilant and free press along with citizens, hold their feet to the fire.
Governments do not want us to know what they do in our name. Secrecy is the rooted desire of all country’s. And openness is the hobgoblin of our country. We are not an open society. We tremble on the brink of fascism. WE are only marginally free, and the government can take it away anytime they want. Either gradually or quickly as under Bush, and sustained under Obama. So if we are not prepared to exercise our rights, our voices and our demonstrations against these suppression’s, than we will go down quietly and without a fight.
This is what they want. That we allow them to take our rights and Democracy quietly.

THE GUARDIAN SUPPRESSES FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
The real threat against our ‘Freedom of Speech’ and Civil Liberties, – is the Guardian Newspaper themselves! – As why is it the two last comments I’ve posted been removed? Copy of comment will follow this. I have directly contacted the Guardian and asked for an explanation as to why did the moderator think it necessary to remove my comment, and in a typical suppressive style, they have decided to blank me, and haven’t even the decency to reply. This newspaper is showing it’s true colours, as is our corrupt government, – as they come across as being for the people, when in fact they’re devious as hell, because here’s the ironic thing, we have a ‘Free Press’ suppressing the people! The Guardian newspaper has proved they can’t be trusted, they’re no longer the newspaper they used to be since Murdoch got he’s paws through the doors – The Guardian newspaper is now on par with The Sun, right wing and full of Shit!

The lone voices are marched along the Masonic Way, where, one by one, they are crucified… Then the world revolution began…and the real meaning of a hung parliament started to swing!!!

FREE JULIAN ASSANGE: There’s no law against exposing the truth. – How odd it is, – here we have a man who had the bottle to prove to the public how devious and corrupt our parasitical world leaders are, and that with the help of their Masonic foot soldiers, concocted sex allegations, – that no one – here in the UK, and not even the corrupt Masonic District Judge Howard Riddle himself who remanded Assange on the 7th December 2010, have yet seen or been presented with any evidence as to what Assange is meant to have been accused of. So why the hell was he remanded then? And this is 100% proof, that the case against Assange is most definitely politically motivated. And particularly considering he had such high profile people including, journalist John Pilger, film director Ken Loach and Jemima Khan/Goldsmith, who stood up in court offering to put up sureties. Mr Assange is accused by the United States of Sweden authorities of one count of rape, one of unlawful coercion and two counts of sexual molestation, alleged to have been committed in August 2010. Yet when these allegation where put forward to a senior Swedish prosecutor, they refused to at first issue a warrant for Assange’s arrest because there was no evidence of rape, they themselves felt it was more politically motivated than anything to do with the alleged crimes, so drooped the case. It was then retaken up when some corrupt rightwing senior Swedish Politician insisted the charges and case against Assange should be pursued. Assange had consented un-protective sex with a pair of grown up women. The allegations involve these two women, Miss A and Miss W, so where’s the evidence? Assange should question his Masonic legal team of representatives, because how is it, he’s been denied bail? Their protests should have been so strong and loud, they should have refused to leave the court until evidence was presented to the court as of what Assange is accused of, these allegations go back to August 2010, – so there has been more than enough time for the corrupt Masonic Swedish judicial system to have faxed over the details to the British police or court. The real riddle is why Freemason Judge Howard Riddle refused bail in the first place, he said he done so; for fear Mr Assange would flee the country. Yet Assange freely handed himself over to British police, he has got to be one of the most famous people and faces presently on the planet, so could hardly flee easily to anywhere else, and besides why should he, he knows his innocent, and had such credible people to stand surety for him. – My god, there are people every day of the week being bailed for crimes ten times as worse than what Assange has been allegedly accused of, and Judge Riddle knows this. [Not that I’m saying his alleged crimes are not serious, of course they are, but show us the evidence.] And it goes without saying, higher up the change of command in his Westminster Masonic Lodge, he has been ordered to remanded Assange at any cost whatsoever. As I write, U.S. prosecutors are pulling their hair out to see how can they find and also concoct a law they can then say Assange has broken, so in turn, they can then demand those traitors of the people in Sweden to extradite him. A book is due for release in the new year of 2011 titled; Trapped in a Masonic World, and covers various miscarriages of justice. Let’s not forget that in Stephen Knight’s book; The Brotherhood [1984]. – Where an informant named Christopher, a senior Whitehall Civil Servant and Freemason explained that Freemasonry’s nationwide organisation of men from most walks of life provided one of the most efficient private intelligence networks imaginable. The only people who can help save Julian Assange from being yet another victim of a gross miscarriage of justice, by being set-up by certain corrupt politicians, – and protect our fundamental rights of Freedom of Speech, the Transparency of Governments, and from us all being treated as a bunch of imbeciles, then you owe to yourself, and the rest of mankind, to make sure our voices are heard, – and lets all go to the next court hearing on the 14th December 2010 at the City of Westminster Magistrate Court, and let the world know we are not prepared to just roll over, and that Assange should be treated the same as anyone else, the evidence to be put forward, and bail be granted at the very least, so he can then defend himself more easily.
