The arrest of a high school track coach in connection with child sexual abuse is tragic for everyone involved. Tormenting Boutiette’s family, as reported in The World, is cruel beyond words. The pain ifor all these families must be immense, intense and unrelenting.
We are talking about children, her victims and her own children who will forever be affected not only by the alleged actions of Boutiette but also by the conduct of the citizens of Coquille. Please do not add to the pain of all these children by engaging in taunts and hateful behavior. Please, for the sake of these kids demonstrate some grace and allow the courts to attend to Wendi Boutiette.
