The council will review applications and conduct interviews for the vacant seat on Dec 15. Considering how hard Dian campaigned and that she had almost twice as many votes as the next highest vote getter I expect that if the council does not appoint Dian to the seat all hell will break loose. All three candidates were in attendance and while none of them worked anywhere near as hard as Dian to get the job or came close to receiving as many votes as she did the council could choose another person. That said, the council was polled a day after the election and agreed unanimously to take the next highest vote getter. We will see if they keep their word.
