In order to formalize the council decision to accept the next highest vote getter, the City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday to formally accept the resignation of Kathy Hagen and implement the process for accepting Dian Courtright. Council rules dating from 1985 or thereabouts suggest this process and were interpreted, broadly, by city counsel, John Trew at the last council meeting.
The meeting will be held at 6 PM. Please be there to support Dian.
Do you think that Hagen will actually produce her letter of resignation on Monday or do you think that she will conveniently forget it again or come up with some other stall tactic to delay the process once again? I mean, enough is enough, this is getting to be ridiculous!
Hagen’s reign on the City Council is over and she just needs to step down gracefully instead of this constant back-and-forth thing she’s got going on…….enough already!
Out with the old, and in with the new, it’s time for a change!
The Council will be much better once Courtright takes her rightful place on the throne.
