Officer Ulmer’s squad car is sporting a new high-tech audio video recording system. The camera pans forward as well as backward to any prisoners in the backseat and both the video and the audio stored on a flash drive that is uploaded to the main police computer at regular intervals.
This is a great step increasing accountability and adding to the safety of the community as well as the officer. More cameras will be installed over the next weeks and I bet we can ask for and receive a demo of the system. Personally, I love tech toys.
