Was looking over at The World and someone commented that Coquille is full of meth heads. Am curious about this because there do not seem to be any busts or arrests of ‘meth heads’ in the police log. Also, my sons, advised me that they never encountered any meth users or cocaine users in Coquille or Coos Bay or North Bend. They visited the bars and the pool halls and knew plenty of pot smokers but neither of them knew or knew of, any meth or cocaine users.
Again and again, I hear from people that there is a huge meth problem and I am not disputing it but there appear to be no arrests or prosecutions, certainly not of dealers. If I have missed any news, please let me know.
