Come one and all, August 11, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00PM at the Coquille Community Center to a civil rights symposium. Learn about your civil rights, what they are and how to protect them when interacting with law enforcement.
Busted an informative movie put out by Flex Your Rights will be shown continuously throughout the symposium. You do not want to miss this movie. Tell your friends and bring your family.
Among the presentations will be information regarding citizen review boards, a ‘Gripe’ table to list any grievances you may have with the city management and police and musical entertainment courtesy of John “Skeet” Gretzinger. The ACLU will also be presenting information.
Coquille PD has been invited to setup a table and we are hoping they will attend and take questions from local citizens.
