Concerned citizen has a post up regarding the importance of staying on track with the goals we are hoping to achieve. Spending time on defense averts valuable resources and slows progress toward the desired end. In my case, I hope to establish a citizen review board and I have some support from the city council on this matter.
Sadly, I have had to turn the video of last Monday’s council meeting over to an attorney to address the defamation of my character by another citizen. Had a citizen review board been in place two years ago or had the city manager and the police department addressed my concerns back then, the individual in question and everyone in attendance might have been spared this spectacle and whatever consequences may ensue.
