Another deadly day in Iraq for US troops and for what? My heart breaks that these kids are dying over there particularly in light of the fact that the Bush administration no longer intends to rebuild Iraq.
We failed to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people when we failed to rebuild their electricity, water and other essential services. Now our troops are targets for an embittered and angry people frustrated by the false promises of George W Bush.
